      Analyst Position Overview

      Collaborate with staff and clients to provide analytical skills, deep market insight and independence to deliver solid, tenable analysis and practical advice to our organization and clients.


      • Assist with the development and implementation of new initiatives to monitor market conditions to enhance the disbursement of market data to developer clients
      • Become familiar with the Atlanta real estate market including but not limited to:
      • the resale condominium and townhome market
      • the new construction condominium and townhome market
      • the single family home market
      • create and maintain database of market information
      • Utilize the resources necessary to complete market analysis and continually find additional resources to enhance market data collection
      • Become familiar with individual projects by visiting projects to view product and location
      • Become familiar with comparable re-sale listings by attending caravans and open houses
      • Facilitate quarterly “Project Performance Analysis” for each new development project at the end of every quarter to be completed by the 5th day of the following month
      • Create quarterly market update overviews for presentation to developer clients and use by the general brokerage agents
      • Present state of the market data to the agents, company, developers or other clients as needed
      • Attend business development meetings to present market data and provide interpretation as needed
      • Assist in the design of comprehensive market studies outlining the viability of proposed projects including information pertaining to:
      • Methodology of creation of proposals
      • Providing Executive Overviews to Clients pertaining to the location, why the proposed project would be a draw or a turn off for potential buyers, and details about other development in the area
      • Provide analysis including but not limited to Market Insight, Buyer Demographics, Product Analysis, and Provide Comprehensive Analysis and Recommendation for new project Viability, Expected Sales Velocity, and Project Pricing
      • Monitor and update data for the Company Marketing Report, updated twice annually
      • Create and/or edit as needed new project proposals, pitches, and market reports
      • Keep up to date and familiar with actively selling new construction and conversion projects, new projects underway, and planned projects in the pipeline
      • Visit and become familiar with new and existing residential real estate product
      • Assist as needed on tasks as it pertains to new development or residential real estate as it pertains to providing data or web display for the company
      • Build an infrastructure for the firm that embraces technology to simplify and streamline all aspects of our business (client communication, accounting, contracts, document management, data management, analysis, CRM, etc.)
      • Seek out and source new clients by developing networks and independently identifying and developing relevant resources for business development.
      • Hone our service offering, especially within the developer services and on-site sales arenas, to maximize value associated with our shared knowledge/experiences
      • Tap into and build upon our networks of real estate industry professionals (developers, investors, capital providers, etc.) to catalyze greater recognition of Engel & Völkers Atlanta and the development services we provide.
      • Craft a persuasive pitch that highlights our unparalleled service offering and which graciously and indirectly points out the shortcomings of our competitors
      • Lead the generation of project specific listing presentations (this includes providing guidance and direction as well as direct contributions of analysis and content as needed)
      • Coordinate with various teams and stakeholders as required to ensure an excellent client experience across all client interactions from needs assessment through delivery and beyond.
      • Work towards sales and revenue goals as established in partnership with the President.
      • Work collaboratively with any marketing personnel to develop and oversee creative outreach and project marketing strategies
      • Meet with agents to explain or assist with their CMA process, data collection and gain a better understanding of the market
      • Attend monthly NPU meetings to stay abreast of new developments in the planning process
      • Join and attend at least one industry related group with the goal of making networking connections and facilitating ongoing education on up to date new development deals


      • Familiarity with new development projects and market values
      • Ability to grasp future trends in digital technologies
      • Excellent, clear, concise communication and interpersonal skills
      • Ability to establish and maintain working relationships
      • Prioritization skills, multitasking, and analytical skills
      • Extremely proficient with MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Suite
      • Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts
